How It Works

Connect The Thots is an interactive celebrity relationship graph that lets you explore the hidden connections between your favorite celebrities. Think of it as “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” — but for everyone.

1.Pick any two celebrities from our database of over 1,000 people.
2.We find the shortest path between them through their real-life relationships — dating, marriages, co-starring roles, collaborations, friendships, and even feuds.
3.Explore the visual graph to discover surprising connections and share your favorites.

Our celebrity data is curated from publicly available sources including:

Wikipedia and Wikidata
IMDb filmographies and credits
Reputable entertainment news outlets
Community submissions (verified by our moderation team)

Connect The Thots is built with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and react-force-graph for interactive visualizations. Pathfinding uses a breadth-first search algorithm to find the shortest connection between any two celebrities in our graph.
